Delete your account

You can request deletion of your ChauffHer account and the personal data linked to it by email, to [email protected].

How to ask

1. Email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete account”.
2. We may ask a question to confirm that the request is from you.
3. A ChauffHer staff member deletes the account and confirms by email when it is done.

What is deleted and what is kept

• Deleted: your name, phone number, date of birth, gender and profile photo. For drivers, the verification photos, licence number and vehicle details are also removed.
• Kept, with your name replaced by “Deleted user”: ride, payment and safety records, and ratings.
• Kept as long as the law requires: records that the law requires us to keep.
• A driver’s wallet balance is kept as the law requires.
